Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred although relevant work experience can be considered- Proficiency in various cooking techniques, such as grilling, sauteing, baking and frying. Knowledge of different cuisines and the ability to prepare a wide range of dishes.
Understanding of proper food handling, storage and sanitation practices to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Familiarity in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) guidelines.
