Job Summary:
The Commercial Director at Great Deals E-Commerce Corporation is a pivotal role responsible for driving business growth and revenue through the development and implementation of strategic commercial initiatives. This position involves overseeing sales, marketing, and business development activities, building robust client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. The Commercial Director will collaborate closely with senior management to align commercial goals with the overall business strategy and ensure the achievement of financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Development:Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Revenue & Growth:Achieve 100% of fiscal year revenue growth and gross margin targets.
- Strategic Partnerships:Establish top-to-top alignment with key brand and platform partners to define medium to long-term ambitions and strategies.
- Contract Negotiation:Negotiate contract renewals and commercial trading terms tailored to growth plans.
- Resource Management:Manage annual budgets, manpower, business structure, and tech support allocation to meet shared business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:Establish and manage cross-functional processes and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Transition & Integration:Create transition and integration plans for personnel movements within the organization.
- Partnerships & Performance:Foster strong partnerships with platform teams and supervise enabler performance metrics.
- Business Analysis:Conduct e-commerce business/category analysis and share insights.
- Performance Management:Deliver regular KPI and metrics reviews, foster community practices, and ensure team development.
- Project Management:Establish project teams, set up project reviews, and manage stakeholders to deliver projects on time with desired results.
- Additional Duties:Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years in brand or account management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Knowledge:
- Clear understanding of the company's vision and mission.
- Thorough understanding of company rules and regulations.
- Adaptability to new systems and effective utilization.
- Strong e-commerce knowledge, including metrics, activations, and tools.
- Proficiency in data analytics and strategy development based on historical data.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of key business drivers and financial systems.
