Basic Function:- Responsible for the efficient and prompt collection of all lessees accounts such as rental, utilities, security deposit and other dues and the issuance of the corresponding receipts thereof; deposits daily collections to the bank or remits collections to the cashier during non-banking hours/day or as requested by management
Implements the company's collection policies and systems and procedures.
- Receives payments for rental, utilities and other dues and issues corresponding collector's receipts. Deposits daily collections to the bank or remits to the cashier during non-banking hours/day or as requested by management.
Accounts for all Collector's Receipts issued and unused.- Distributes the Statement of Accounts and other bills of collections, demand letters and notices to the lessees in his assigned areas.
Records all collections in his respective lessee's file copy of Statement of Accounts
- Computes and indicates on the collector's receipts the corresponding withholding tax and savings of lessees. Codes the collector's receipt by indicating the corresponding EDP code of space and lessee number.
Receives and entertains inquiries and complaints from lessees regarding their accounts.- Coordinates with his Supervisor, Lessee Relations Officer and Billing Clerks regarding billings and collections of lessees with delinquent accounts for appropriate action.
Ensures that all Lessees have received their Statement of Account.
- Prepares and submits Collector's Daily Collections Report and other necessary reports.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Collection Supervisor.- Produce frequent monitoring and evaluation progress reports with status of results and implementation of improvements
