Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Shifting Training is 9 PM-6 AM or 10 PM-7 AM Monday to Friday for 3 weeks. Flexibility with days off based on operational needs.
Salary: PHP 30,000 to PHP 35,000
Work Setup: Permanent WFH

The Financial Tech Playbook: Daily Duties to Drive Results

As the Collections Account Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Contacting customers via phone and mail to secure payments on past-due loans, determining the reasons for delinquency, and obtaining a commitment to pay or negotiating payment arrangements.
  • Updating customer accounts in the computer system.
  • Adhering to established guidelines when determining appropriate collection remedies.
  • Developing and working through repayment schedules with various alternatives, explaining the consequences of delinquency to customers, and attempting to obtain payments.
  • Independently resolving client calls regarding payment questions and issues.
  • Organizing future work and scheduling follow-ups.
  • Recording and updating full and complete account information to aid in account resolution.
  • Maintaining established performance metrics.
  • Complying with policies and procedures as required.
  • Performing customer service tasks if requested by the Manager.

Requirements

Blueprint for Excellence: Skills and Experience to Ace This Role

Important Pre-Requisites:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Collections experience with no more than a 3-month gap in employment or Collections work.
  • Experience working with an outsourcer and handling accounts delinquent for 120+ days.
  • Strong English communication skills (minimum 9/10 score).
  • A strong internet connection and use of a laptop during the interview.
  • At least 1 year of remote work experience with previous employment.
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills during the pre-screen process.
  • All candidates must confirm their presence for the interview well in advance otherwise, they will be disqualified from the recruitment process.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Previous call center experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in collections.
  • Excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills knowledge of a second language is a plus.
  • Ability to work with CRM and call center systems.
  • Impeccable judgment and acute attention to detail.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
  • Capability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Experience in customer service, debt loan collection, consumer lending, or personal loans.
  • Familiarity with underwriting loans, financial statements, and payroll is a plus.
