Job Description

Title: Collections Officer

Location: BGC Taguig City

  • Job Description:

As the Collection Officer, this position will play a pivotal role in the core of our Collections Department.

Commitment to precision, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of Collection processes and collection regulations will be a critical part in achieving the ideal target of Collections Department.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Conducting customer verification and vehicle inspection in the declared residence and source of income address of customer.
  • Monitoring and tracking of delinquent accounts, identifying trends, and recommending strategies for improvement.
Resolving customer disputes and addressing any concerns or issues related to outstanding balances.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
Adhering to legal and regulatory requirements while conducting collection activities.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as customer service, accounting, finance and legal department, to resolve complex cases.
Negotiating payment arrangements and setting up suitable repayment plans for the account under default status.
  • Technical Qualifications:
A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in Financing or banking Industry
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations: A Collections Officer should have a good understanding of the legal framework surrounding debt collection, including knowledge of fair debt collection practices, privacy laws, and any industry-specific regulations.
Data analysis and reporting skills: Being able to analyze collection data, identify trends, and generate reports is important for monitoring and improving collection performance. Proficiency in using spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel can be beneficial.
  • Basic accounting knowledge: A basic understanding of accounting principles, such as debits and credits, can be helpful in managing and reconciling customer accounts.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills: Collections Officers should be detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate and organized records of all collection activities, including payment arrangements, correspondence, and any relevant documentation.

Pay: Php25,
  • 00 - Php35,000.00 per month

    Schedule:
  • Day shift
Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

* 13th month salary
