DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, grinding, etc.
Prepare and safely load and unload raw materials and parts into the machine. - Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Inspect and measure finished products based on requirement given by the engineering drawing to ensure quality of parts.
Separate any parts that does not conform to quality standards.
- Complete all reports and other paperwork's associated with the machining process 7. Report encountered problems and defects to immediate superior
Maintain machinery function by endorsement of JO/report to R&M department when problem occurs.- Implement 5S in respective areas.
Follow any work related instruction given by the immediate superior even if it is not associated with CNC machining process.
- REQUIRED COMPETENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE:
Knows the basic CNC controls and commands.
- Knows how to use and read measuring instruments
Skilled in metal working operations thru Conventional or CNC machining- Reliable; with high integrity and strong work ethic
Must be computer literate
- Has basic knowledge in Lean Manufacturing specially 5S
- IV. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experienced CNC machinist
- Must be a graduate of any technical or machining-related vocational course
