- Design and implement performance testing strategies and methodologies for cloud-based systems and applications.
- Develop performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and metrics to assess the performance of cloud services and applications.
- Conduct performance testing, analysis, and tuning of cloud infrastructure components such as compute, storage, networking, and databases.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, resource constraints, and optimization opportunities in cloud-based systems and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize code, configurations, and architecture for performance and scalability.
- Work with cloud service providers to understand performance characteristics, limitations, and best practices of cloud services.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of cloud-based systems and applications, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement performance monitoring, profiling, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Provide recommendations and guidelines for designing, deploying, and operating high-performance cloud-based systems and applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud performance engineering.
Job Qualifications - Experience in performance engineering, with a focus on cloud based systems and applications.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Apache Bench. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and profiling tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Any cloud certifications are a plus.
