About Jardine Service Centre Philippines (JSC)
Jardine Service Centre Philippines is an organization fully owned by Jardine Matheson Group which is a diversified Asian-based group with unsurpassed experience in the region, having been founded in 1832. JSC is responsible for providing back-office support to the business units of Jardine Group by administrating transactional and rule-based activities. We aim to deliver world-class services to our internal customers in a cost-efficient manner via process harmonization, application of state-of-the-art technologies, automation and process simplification.
As part of our Jardine Service Centre services, we are looking at establishing application support teams for a number of our target systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365, Tagetik, ServiceNow, Workday, Peoplesoft, Salesforce and Mulesoft. Our aim is to provide better support, enhancements and to take advantage of the SaaS product roadmaps and upgrades. We are looking for someone to structure and plan this exciting plan.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deploy and implement Azure projects, such as computer, network, security, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and identity management.
- Follow best practices and standards for cloud infrastructure engineering, in areas such as security, automation, performance management, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Continually review and monitor the existing JML Azure Production & DR environments. Implement ongoing improvements to optimise performance, reliability and cost effectiveness.
- Perform security management, including system hardening, access controls, and regular security audits.
- Perform resource management, including implementing auto-scaling and load balancing strategies to handle variable workloads.
- Conduct incident response and troubleshooting for system and cloud-related problems.
- Keep up with the latest trends and technology innovations in the cloud infrastructure environment and make recommendations for improvement with JML's technology approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT project delivery, preferably with Microsoft Azure or other cloud hosting platforms.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions for business applications and IT infrastructure support.
- Strong knowledge and skills in network design and implementation, such as VPN, firewall, load balancer, DNS, and subnetting.
- Strong knowledge and skills in cloud security, such as encryption, key vault, identity and access management, and compliance.
- Sound knowledge and skills in cloud storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Strong knowledge and skills in cloud identity management, such as Entra ID, cloud identity and single sign-on.
- Experience in service automation tools such as PowerShell and/or API.
- Knowledge of ITSM best practices is expected.
- Knowledge in Microsoft 365 is an advantage.
- Certification in Microsoft Azure or equivalent is expected.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about learning new technologies and delivering quality solutions.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
