Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our growing team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.You will work with DevOps, SRE, and DevSecOps teams across the globe, contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of Public Cloud domain.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Have 4 years of experience in DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Strong understanding of basic public cloud concepts and services;
• Proficient in Terraform for automating cloud infrastructure;
• Strong foundation in networking and cloud networking concepts;
• Basic understanding of cloud security and governance;
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural, global teams;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with global teams and stakeholders;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality solutions under pressure.

Desired Skill-set

• Familiarity with implementing security policies in cloud environments;
• Strong drive to research and experiment with new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features for applications and platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements;
• Design and build CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment of applications and platforms;
• Create and propose technical solutions that meet business objectives and requirements;
• Investigate, assess, and recommend technologies for implementation through Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs);
• Manage, maintain, update, and secure applications and platforms owned by the squad;
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide technical support for platforms and applications;
• Analyze and troubleshoot incidents, resolving issues efficiently;
• Work closely with Chapter Lead and Cloud Engineers to prioritize backlog and deliverables;
• Assist in documenting technical solutions and contribute to team standards and best practices;
• Contribute to the definition of technical standards, guiding the team toward innovative solutions;
• Investigate and prototype emerging technologies, recommending their adoption into operational environments.
