Job Description

The successful applicant is entitled to receive a $5,000 pro-rata payment for eligible part-time employees based on hours worked to live and work in Katanning. This is a Permanent Part-Time vacancy.

The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing care for patients, and build capacity of clinicians within the Region using leadership, knowledge and advanced nursing skills relevant to palliative care nursing practice, in a community and hospital setting.

About You

  • Demonstrated advanced nursing practice within the palliative care practice setting
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making, within the palliative care setting
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including team leadership, clinical handover and escalation communication skills
  • Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management within practice
  • Demonstrated computer skills to enable live data entry into health information systems (including Palliative Care data collection), navigation of online policies, internal communication and completion of online learning resources.
