Must be a graduate of Finance, Medical, or any related courses.Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in Life Claims. Administration, Record and File Management, and customer service.
Preferably with experience in Life Claims or General Insurance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate life insurance terms and conditions as well as the convey the reason for claims decision.

Analyzes, investigates and adjudicates life claims to ensure the timely accurate payment of contract benefits
- Obtains reports, medical records, eligibility, and/or additional information required to investigate and process claims
Collaborates with peers and management to ensure consistent interpretations of policy provisions and claim payment methods- Adheres to service standards of processing administrative requests
Sends out letters requesting information for claims files.
- Ensures complete and accurate claim file documentation
Maintains an understanding of the different client relationships and products- Assist with mail sorting and distribution
Assist in cheque sorting, transmittal preparation and distribution
- Coordinates desk coverage when analysts are out including claim distribution, mail distribution and routing incoming calls
Responsible for claim triage and distribution of claims multiple clients- Follows up on overpayments, processes and applies payments in admin system
Assist with department projects as needed
