Job Description
The
Claims Accounts or Claims Operations Administrator will support the claims department Sr Leadership, Director of Claim Account Manager and Claim Lines of Business Managers succeed in meeting their business goals and objectives. Reporting directly to the head of claims, this position requires working collaboratively with other team members such as claim account managers, claim line of business managers, underwriters, and TPA customer service representatives, to ensure seamless claim handling and customer satisfaction. The claim accounts and claim operations administrator will need to demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced and ever- changing environment, including the ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies. Upholding the highest ethical standard and integrity in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders is essential.
The Role
- Assist claims department in the account set-up, maintenance, and renewal workflow
- Onboard partner third-party administrator and new accounts both internally and externally
- Maintain service standards by responding timely to internal/external partner requests and required communications
- Provide daily claim operational assistance of email buckets, maintenance of management reports, carrier portal, loss run creation, service invoice accuracy, initial claim severity review, active client listing, and audits
- Maintain claim folders ensuring all necessary claim and service documents are filed
- Assist claim leadership in meeting external requirements and preparation for regulatory & compliance audits
- Assist Claim Account Managers in preparation for client stewardship meetings, claim reviews, and renewals
- Handle special projects, data integrity checks, and support Claim Leadership as necessary
Qualifications
The Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in claims and/or claim operations, or business experience with similar duties
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service and Interpersonal skills
- Data analysis and interpretation
