Responsibilities:
- Analyze the configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Calculate the pressures, stresses, and strains that each component, such as beams and lintels, will encounter.
- Serve as a liaison between the structural/technical office and the site team.
- Assist the Structural Manager with technical issues related to the project.
- Collaborate in scheduling the project in logical phases and budgeting the time required to meet deadlines in accordance with the overall project timeline.
- Review and prepare shop drawings and method statements for the project.
- Manage subcontractors bending bar lists and shop drawings.
- Review subcontractors technical submissions and assist the Structural/Technical Manager.
- Prepare and deliver required reports and presentations.
- Prepare technical and material submittals.
- Establish procedures and instructions to be followed according to design specifications and the quantity of required materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus. Familiarity with Ansys, SAP, or similar structural design software is preferred. Competence in Microsoft Office is also required.
- Strong knowledge of rebar and concrete structures, preferably in horizontal infrastructure.
- Experience with major reinforced concrete projects.
- International experience is highly valued.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required for effective on-site communication.
