Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in project management under Construction Company to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee various civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, client interaction, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Project Planning and Management:
-Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
-Manage all phases of project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
-Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. -Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
-Design and Analysis
-Perform engineering analysis and design for infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, water systems, and buildings.
-Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. -Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering applications.
-Supervise and inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. -Resolve design and construction issues in a timely manner.
-Conduct quality control inspections and enforce safety protocols.
-Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians. -Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and consultants.
-Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders. -Budget and Cost Control:
-Prepare and manage project budgets. -Track project expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place.
-Report on financial performance and project status to senior management.
-Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
-Obtain necessary permits and approvals. -Conduct environmental impact assessments as required.
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
-Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
-Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects. -Proficiency in project management software.
-Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willing to be relocated and can atleast speak or understand basic mandarin.
