The Civil Design Engineer shall be responsible performing engineering design calculations and drawings in accordance with customer specifications, applicable codes and standards and other generally accepted practice.
- Analyses, studies, and reviews all pertinent project documents given by the Lead Engineer/immediate superior.
- Prepare layouts and conceptual designs for moderately complex problems mainly for petrochem, oil and gas, LNG , Modular buildings .
Prepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings road surfaces, horizontal and vertical alignments.
Develop design philosophy and functional specification for related structures.
Does the layout and sizing of ditches, culve Prepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings road surfaces, horizontal and vertical alignments rts and fire traps for stormwater (STW) and main stormwater drainage system (MSTW)
Performs As-Builting as per project requirement.
Conducts squad check of vendor equipment drawings and drawings from other disciplines
Develops working plan and profiles, long sections, and cross sections
Works closely with the HSE and Quality teams to ensure that safety and quality standards are maintained during Engineering phase.
Assist the Project Management, Fabrication, Construction teams, and others, as required.
Conducts site visits and support the team as & when required .
Participates in department training programs/seminars and on-line training
- Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by Project Manager.
BS Civil Engineering Graduate
Should have thorough knowledge Stormcad software, Inroads, Civil 3D, Autocad (minimum qualification)
Familiar with Detail Engineering work flow.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple requests.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills and ability to effectively function in a team environment.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in the similar discipline in an oil and gas and/or petrochemical projects, or in a technical service capacity in the upstream, refinery, or heavy chemical plant environment, Commercial or Industrial Setup
