Chief Solar Logistics Technician Manager who is passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God and serving off-grid communities nationwide by bringing renewable solutions for their development.
As the
Chief Solar Logistics Technician Manager (CLT) you will serves as the primary leader of the company's Solar Logistics Technicians in the field. Responsible for organizing and training Solar LogTechs to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient Hub warehouse and logistics operations. Additionally, the CLT oversees the reporting and analysis of Solar LogTech performance and spearheads initiatives for necessary improvements.
Specifically, the Chief Solar Logistics Technician Manager leads the company's Solar Logistics Technicians in achieving performance standards in the following areas:
- Customer Service and Satisfaction:
Ensure customers are trained in product usage.
- Ensure timely and complete client deliveries and installations.
Facilitate easy customer access to HSSi through various channels.- Expedite repair or replacement of defective units.
Assess and honor warranty claims appropriately.
- Provide timely feedback to the Product Development Committee regarding product performance issues.
- Hub Logistics/Warehouse Management:
Develop and implement well-defined hub logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to company procedures by Solar hub technicians.
Manage activities such as receiving, stock transfer, delivery planning, inventory organization, and reporting.- Maintain optimal inventory levels through timely stock transfer requests.
- Hub Solar Workshop Management:
Equip all Solar Workshops with necessary tools.- Ensure timely processing and resolution of units returned for repair or replacement.
Maintain availability of spare parts.
- Properly dispose of used/defective units and track workshop tools, spare parts, warranty claims, and reconditioned units.
- Hub Logistics and Technical Monitoring and Reporting:
Consolidate and report logistics and technical information in a timely manner.
- Monitor net customer satisfaction scores, repair performance, warranty claims, defective units analysis, and inventory levels.
- Solar Logistics Technician Function Development:
Manage LogTech manning levels in each region.
- Establish Accredited Technician networks.
Provide technical training for LogTechs, Accredited Technicians, Solaristas, Solusyonistas, and partners.- Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
Define clear career paths for Solar Technicians and conduct regular evaluations and promotions.
- Facilitate access to technical materials and share best practices across the LogTech network.
Ensure efficient local logistics and technical support within budget constraints.
- New Product Development Support:
Collaborate with the Solar LogTech network to support Program and Product Innovation initiatives.- Assist in testing new products and implementing pilot projects.
Provide on-the-ground expertise and end-user feedback to enhance understanding of customer needs for new products.
- Provide project management leadership for larger projects and installations beyond typical LogTech capabilities.
- We're looking for candidate with the following competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in the solar energy industry with a focus on solar product development, design, and deployment.
Strong technical expertise in solar PV system design, photovoltaic technologies, inverters, energy storage, and related components.- Proven track record of successfully managing complex solar projects from conception to completion, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
