Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
Prior experience in a officer or supervisory/managerial role within a radiology department is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations governing radiology services.
Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the radiology department, including scheduling, workflow management, and equipment maintenance, to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Provide leadership and direction to the radiology team, including radiologic technologists and other support staff, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines related to radiation safety, patient care, and quality assurance.- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance the quality and efficiency of radiology services in collaboration to the management.
Perform radiologic examinations and procedures as necessary, adhering to established protocols and maintaining high standards of technical quality.
- Assist in the selection, training, and evaluation of radiologic technologists, providing ongoing guidance and feedback to support their professional development.
Maintain accurate and complete records of radiology procedures, patient information, and other relevant data in accordance with legal and departmental requirements.- Monitor and evaluate the performance of radiology equipment, identifying any issues or malfunctions and coordinating repairs or maintenance as needed.
Stay up-to-date with advances in radiology technology, techniques, and regulations, and ensure the department remains current with industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the radiology department, promoting a positive work environment for staff and ensuring patient satisfaction.
