Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain the building and equipment in excellent condition.
- Maintain high morale and cohesion of all Technical Staff.
- Maintain effective communication between all other departments.
- Prepare budgets for expenditure, energy and staff.
- Appraise staffs performance, praise/reprimand.
- Work order control.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Renovation projects.
- Systems improvement projects.
- Contracting out of works.
- Operation of all engineering systems.
- Renew all licenses relating to engineering systems.
- Control staff attendance and annual leave.
- Energy conversation.
- Provide training for staff.
- Recruitment of engineering staff.
- Attend/chair necessary meetings.
- Co-ordinate with the Chief Engineer and all Department Heads.
- Assist the Chief Engineer in making decision on engineering matters.
