Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.

  • Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.

  • Manage cash flow, investment strategies, and capital structure.

  • Supervise accounting, auditing, tax, and treasury functions.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

  • Optimize financial processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Identify and manage financial risks.

  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.

  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Communicate financial performance and strategies to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and investors.

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure proper training and development programs for finance staff.
  • Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
