Priority Group Services LLC is a leading provider of DDD services in New Jersey, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through high-quality support and care. Our services include community-based supports, respite services, physical and occupational therapy, supported employment, and more. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our team and contribute to our mission.
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of financial management in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Manage and monitor all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, billing, and reporting.- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the executive team.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and stakeholders.
Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management.- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
