Position Summary:The Chief Accountant plays a pivotal role in the financial management and reporting of the organization. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. The Chief Accountant provides strategic guidance to the finance team, implements financial policies and procedures, and collaborates with various departments to support organizational goals.

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and must be a
Certified Public Accountant- At least seven (7) years experience in a related field, preferably with audit firm experience
At least five (5) years in a leadership role- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and standards, with hands-on experience in financial reporting and analysis
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
