Luxent Hotel, a 4-star hotel located at Timog Avenue, Quezon City, is currently looking for a
Chef De Partie (Pastry Chef and Baker) whose tasks may include but are not limited to:
Supervising activities of cooks and other kitchen workers;
Preparing and cooking complete meals or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables, and meat, poultry and fish dishes, and create decorative food displays for special events such as banquets;
Creating new recipes and planning menus;
Balancing operational, administrative, and colleague needs; and
Liaising with all relevant departments
Must be a graduate of Culinary Arts or any related course;
Cook's trade certification, training, and experience are required;
Experienced as a specialist chef or chef;
High school diploma is required;
Diploma or Certification in a culinary discipline is an asset;
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications is an asset;
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities;
Highly responsible and reliable;
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment;
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team; and has the
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
