Summary of ResponsibilitiesThe Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing food and cooking high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Job Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu
Assist in the ordering and maintaining of stocks of Meat and vegetables as determined by the Executive Chef
Ensure the quality and freshness of stocks
Organize and supervise the work carried out by commis chefs and apprentices in the area of his responsibility
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards and regulations
Performed task that maybe assigned from time to time
At least 1 year experience in a dining/hotel restaurant
Ability to prepare meal requests which are not on the menu
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of best cooking practices
