Duties and Responsibilities:- Designs and develops program curriculum aligned with national standards and international quality frameworks, regulatory bodies, and industry trends.
Spearheads management of the department laboratories.- Performs administrative and leadership functions governing groups of students, faculty and resources for a specific degree program.
Facilitates linkages among the departments, faculty members, students, and higher administration, and networks with local and international institutions.
- Promotes the school's core values of truth, justice, peace, and integrity of creation.
Acts as Officer In-Charge in the absence of the Academic Dean.- Performs basic functions such as faculty hiring, performance evaluation, and resource administration.
Supervises the teaching of degree programs to students as well as crediting of courses of transferees.
- Supervises, monitors, advises, and evaluates students in their respective departments.
Sits-in and participate in the deliberations of students who will graduate, be dismissed, or will be placed on probation.- Collaborates with the MCO and Admissions Office in promoting the different programs of the department with the approval of the Academic Dean.
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Chairperson, Psychology Department (Graduate Program)
Holder of a doctoral degree in Psychology
Demonstrated leadership in graduate-level education and program administration
Active engagement in scholarly activities and research
Ability to inspire and guide graduate students towards academic and professional success
Preferably with at least two (2) years of managerial/administrative experience
