- Provide a strong support to the Executive Producers in controlling the budget and managing the production cost.
- Provide the EP and the Controller with sufficient information on the performance of the project by submitting a weekly status report. Recommend ways on how to minimize costs to improve profitability.
Immediately inform the EP and the Controller on any deviation from the policy committed by the production staff so that actions are properly undertaken.- Ensure that project requirements are given immediate attention. Ensure that their requirements are delivered accurately and promptly to avoid delay in the production.
Updates Project Income Statement, from encoding of transactions to preparation.
- Process the closing of completed projects.
Make sure that the following reports are submitted accurately and promptly to meet the deadline of the submission of Financial Statements.- Weekly detailed expense register per project
Monthly project master update
- And other reports required by clients
Checks accuracy of accounting entries to avoid unnecessary adjustments in the books.
- Strengthens Internal Control
- Verify disbursements against production budget. Make sure these are properly accounted for, approved by authorized personnel and supported by official documents.
Make sure that policies related to production such as project cash advances, payments of talent fees and production suppliers, etc. are strictly implemented. Reports to the Controller any discrepancies found.
- Checks RFP pertaining to production Expense/Projects:
Checks mathematical accuracy of RFPs- Ensures supporting documents are complete and accurate
Ensures RFP are duly signed by proper authority
- Indicates the CE balance. In case of overruns, immediately informs the superior and the concerned Executive Producer (EP).
* Ensures that production expenses and disbursements are within the budget.
- Ensures that talent fees are processed within the due date. Takes initiative to follow-up the RFP for talent fees from the concerned EPs.
