Certified Public Accountant

• Identify and assess significant control, compliance, operational, financial, and business risk areas.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures following local and international best practices.
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
• Preparation and/or review of Draft Process Documentation, Walkthroughs, Audit Programs, Audit Plan, and Audit Reports.
• Review all monthly internal control/audit checks.
• Review surprise Cash and Inventory count relevant to Hotel and F&B segment.
• Able to perform night audits such as nightly raffle draw audit/witnessing
• Handles the documentation of all audit projects/reports.
• Manage resources and audit assignments.
• Oversees the team on the status of their workload.
• Conduct review for compliance audits such as Anti Money Laundering Review.
• Overall supervision of planned annual audits.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Board Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in internal auditing, financial accounting, or financial management (essential).
• MUST BE A CPA
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an internal/external audit environment.
• Relevant experience in Anti-money laundering is an advantage.
• Exceptional accounting and audit skills.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Word and Excel.
