Owner of end-to-end billings and collections processes. Provides expertise and guidance to the team on updated general accounting practices and acts as coordinator for operational activities within the team, including driving change and optimizing accounting service delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
Support the implementation of the team strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets
Participate in all relevant meetings in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice
Policy, Process and Procedures
Ensure that all processes conducted are documented in a standard format and that this is maintained in an accessible fashion
Ensure training and knowledge is up to date. This includes but is not limited to mainframe applications and general accounting processes.
Recommends improvements on GSSC chargeback methodology and existing procedures.
Customer Focus
Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship with peers in Finance-Support, internal and external customers.
Close coordination with senior officers (CFO, Divisional Business Partners, Finance Controllers, etc.) of onshore counterparts for swift resolution on concerns raised on chargebacks.
Technical Performance
Processing basic and routine functions related to accounts receivable and general accounting duties, including processing and recording of billings, FX forward contract hedging and settlement, collections and preparation of related documentation and correspondences.
Timely reconciliation of revenues and intercompany balances.
Perform deep dive analysis on headcount composition, movement and reconciliation with various departments.
Execution of agreed chargeback methodology on a consistent manner.
Extracting statistical data and reports from records for analysis.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
5 years relevant experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
CPA
Preferred Competencies/Skills
Strong skills and understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Advanced English proficiency
Preferred Experience
At least 5 years working experience with at least 2 years in audit
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Preferred Knowledge
Advance knowledge of organizational accounting procedures
Basic knowledge of local taxation requirements for invoicing and receipting
Updated knowledge on PFRS/PAS
Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
