Description: The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will manage and oversee the financial activities of the organization. The CPA will ensure the accuracy of financial records, prepare reports, and provide financial advice to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop annual budgets and monitor performance against the budget.
- Provide financial projections and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
- General Ledger Management:
- Oversee general ledger functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and improve the integrity of the financial reporting system.
- Advisory and Strategy:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies.
- Support business development initiatives with financial modeling and analysis.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Facilitate training and development programs for accounting personnel.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience with accounting software and financial management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Have worked with US companies
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
