• Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tagalog Tutor to join our online teaching team. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Tagalog, creating engaging lesson plans, and working with children and adults. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, interactive lessons that cater to the unique needs of our students.

• Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement structured lesson plans tailored to the needs of children and adults.

• Conduct engaging and interactive online classes using platforms like Zoom.

Assess students language proficiency and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Collaborate with the team to continuously improve teaching methods and materials.

• Maintain open communication with students and their families to ensure a smooth learning experience.

• Qualifications:

Fluency in Tagalog and English.

• Experience in teaching Tagalog, especially to children and adults.

Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using online teaching tools and technology.

• Passionate about Filipino culture and heritage.

Reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Education, Filipino Studies, or related fields.

• Previous experience teaching in an online setting.

* Familiarity with western culture and the unique needs of western children of Filipino heritage and spouses of Filipinos.
