FATIMA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER is actively hiring for CSSD TECHNICIAN with the following basic function and qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
College graduate, with a bachelor's degree in Nursing (may not be licensed) or graduate of Midwifery course (may not be licensed)
Preferably with CSSD training
With at least one month training in a hospital setting
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Stores, issues and prepares medical and surgical supplies used in the care and treatment of patients.
- Requisitions, stores, issues, assembles, and sterilizes supplies and materials required for the care of patients.
- Maintains a perpetual inventory of every item stocked in order to ensure adequate levels of supplies.
- Maintains and issues portable apparatus such as, resuscitators, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, orthopedic appliances, surgical and emergency equipment, and provides instruction in the use of such equipment and apparatus.
