Position: CCTV Operator (SG-8)
- Office Assignment: Security and Safety Management Unit
Preferably holds a degree in Criminology/Industrial Security Management/Bachelor's/IT professional or any related field;
- Possess a CCTV Operator license/certification from accredited training institution;
Possessing a solid understanding of industry standards and regulations related to CCTV operations, in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012;- With valid License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP).
With minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant position;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
With relevant work experience and with good work performance from previous employment.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- To act as the CCTV operators and technical assistance to the SSMU
- Monitor multiple live feeds from CCTV cameras, continuously maintain awareness of the environment for potential threats, risk and any changes and must be vigilant in any
suspicious activities or any security breaches.
- Records all significant events monitored on CCTV monitor/BMS, responding to
generated alarms and notifications and taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Assist the SSMU in coordinating with the security service providers and with the
authorized law enforcers in providing information and support during incidents,
investigation and emergency.
- Assist emergency responders to provide real-time updates on emergency situations, including the location and nature of the incident, helping responders make informed decisions and deploy resources effectively.
- Report unusual activities to SSMU for necessary actions.
- Regularly submit status reports and incident reports within 24 hours of an incident occurrence including CCTV maintenance logs.
- Maintaining confidentiality protocols to safeguard sensitive information and individuals privacy captured on camera footage.
- Ensure a smooth turnover of duties, with maintenance and accountability for all equipment in the Security Control Room.
- Identify and address any technical problems or malfunctions with CCTV equipment, ensure properly recording, and coordinating with technical support as needed to ensure system reliability.
- Perform tasks related to the instructions provided by SSMU and the ASMO
- Amenable to work night shift schedules, rest days, holidays and other declared non- working days for exigency of service.
