As a Category Manager you should include, but not be limited to:
- Develop the local brand product merchandising mix specific to assigned categories, ensure merchandising strategy is properly coordinated to the local and regional teams and implemented efficiently to achieve the organization's goals.
Prepare the seasonal product range tailored to the local product needs, develop the quarterly range calendar release date, determine the merchandising allocation for all channels (offline and online) specific to assigned categories.- Work closely with regional and China product development team to address Philippines market needs, study and report local trends, manage and monitor sportswear and shoes localization plan (SMU) progress for local market.
Manage local pricing to achieve our margin targets, aligned with regional and China product development team.
- Establish long-term vision for brand and individual category growth and develop the seasonal merchandising plan to achieve targets, ensure complete look of Anta image are brought to the target market.
Conduct consumer and market research for current and future opportunities for Philippines. Maintain a competitive database showing the movements of our global competitors and local brands.- Manage sales/buy plan forecasting, sales and margin targets for specific categories assigned.
Work closely with sales team to ensure that product relevance emphasis is combined with the financial planning side.
- Provide the sales and operations team with monthly category sales, sell-thru, inventory reports. Attend to regional and China team reports needed specific to categories handled.
Responsible for allocation of new products to offline and online stores and execute assortment plan. Work closely with the sales and operations teams on promotions and identify inventory to be prioritized for sales programs.- Undertake other duties and responsibility as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or as when necessary for the effective realizations of the job purpose.
