Cashier/Barista

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:

Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave.

• Provide information on menu items and answer any questions customers may have.

Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.

• Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to company recipes and standards.

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.

Customize beverages based on customer preferences and dietary needs.

• Cash Handling:

Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash, credit card, and mobile payments.

• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as necessary.

• Inventory and Stock Management:

Monitor inventory levels and inform the manager of low stock items.

• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality.

Restock supplies and maintain inventory in the beverage preparation area.

• Cleanliness and Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, equipment, and seating areas.

• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.

• Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the Restaurant

• Assist in training new employees and sharing best practices.

Communicate effectively with the team and management to address any issues or concerns.

• Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a cashier, barista, or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

Proficient in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions.

• Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
