What You Will Be Doing

The Cash Application Analyst will have to ensures service excellence internally and externally by delivering high quality standards of efficiency and quality, expressing outstanding results for OTC process delivery covering Cash Application, Adjustments, AR Management, and Terminal Invoicing. Additional duties will focus on customer queries, divisional issue resolution and monitoring of Customer and Bank accounts

The Cash Application Analyst will be a key contributor within the O2C community and must have a deep understanding of AR process and key networks in order to drive process improvements and innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform necessary transactional AR process and resolve process related queries.
• Extend support for standard tasks relating to his/her assigned process and act as back-up in case of absences within the team.
• Perform account analysis, reconciliation, and reporting to support accounting cycles and business requirements.
• Recommend new reports / data that will support efficiency of the process
• Provide analysis of the result relating to his/her process
• Ensure that the appropriate internal controls are in place and are in compliance with Stolt Nielsen's Policies & Procedures, with IFRS or the applicable GAAP, and with relevant government or regulatory authorities.
• Ensures all control issues are flagged and progress of resolutions are monitored.
• Support external and internal audit and ensure audit-worthiness of assigned accounts/reports/responsibilities and assist during regular internal and external audit.
• Handle queries from counterparts and customers both internal and external. Able to effectively respond to issues where SME and Supervisor are consulted and/or informed
• Key person / expert of a Division, Should know end-to-end process of the assigned business.
• Keep updated on all developments and changes relevant to the assigned process.
• Expected to maintain and challenge current AR process. Analyze and provide feedback on requests with process deviations.
• Meet all the agreed KPIs and complete the tasks in accordance with the SLA
• Evaluate key performance indicators (KPI) results to identify gaps and develop efficiency measures
• Drive discussions and share knowledge with the team, especially in initiating and suggesting process improvements
• Other tasks which may be assigned by his/ her Supervisor/ Manager including projects to improve systems and processes of handled business/division.
• Provide process overview and trainings to new members / PIC for assigned tasks.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• At least 3 years experience handling cash application and order-to-cash.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any Finance-related course
• Can demonstrate Advanced MS excel knowledge
• Experience in creating/maintaining customer data including informing customer of credit terms
• Experience in managing collections, customer accounts, credit exposure, invoice disputes and month-end reporting - A/R aging reports, highlight overdue payments, etc.
