Job Purpose
- To assist with the recording of customer receipts and supplier payments from the bank into the finance system
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
The Primary Indicator Will Be
- Duties performed within strict timelines.
Secondary Indicators Will Include
- Accuracy of completion of duties
- Clear, concise communications internally & externally
Job Duties
- Reconciling the bank accounts weekly.
- Producing a report of invoices that are cleared for payment.
- Support weekly / Monthly supplier payment runs
- Support monthly payroll payments.
- Support weekly Expenses payments.
- posting journal entries as needed.
- Dealing with supplier and colleague queries relating to invoice payments within a timely manner.
- To provide ad hoc support as required.
- Updating Reports on monthly, weekly or daily basis.
- Assist the finance Supervisor / Team as and when necessary, with other finance related work.
- Knowledge and Experience
- Previous purchase ledger experience (1 to 2 years experience).
- Highly organised with an eye for detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Experience using SAP desirable but not necessary.
- Motivated to get stuck in and support the wider team if necessary.
- Keen to learn and develop.
- Highly organized.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, And QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role would be preferred
- Must be available to work full time on GMT (UK) time zone / 1PM - 10PM PHT
- Must be amenable to report onsite
- Fluent in English
- Experience working with SAP or Dynamics would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook.
