In ensuring that guests receive high-quality service all throughout the events, heshe is expected to:
- Aid the Operations Manager in implementing the rules and guidelines and in promoting new standards, if any.
Maintain a positive work environment for the team members and the guests.- Responsible for leading and monitoring each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up as well all the rest of the team members.
Must be proficient in each area of the servicing to assist when necessary.
- Maintain all throughout the cleanliness and organization of the dining and buffet areas.
Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities from overseeing the setting of tables to food and drinks preparation to completing guest's cut-off.- Check the flow of dishes and the food quality and its temperatures throughout the event within the health and safety regulations.
Follow inventory control procedures to reduce product loss and oversee any damages.
- Effectively lead the service operations likewise in cases, of the absence of the Operations Manager.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the management.- Managing the flow of dishes
Keeping dining areas clean and organized
- Monitors/Supervises food and drinks preparation
Setting tables- Can take orders from guests and can handle complaints
Communicating requests to kitchen staff
- Completing guest cut-offs
