- 1 Maintain accurate list of test equipment in database to monitor its calibration date.
- 2 Review calibration data from calibration laboratory and sign on certificates.
- 3 Ensure database are updated and accurate as to the status, next calibration due and the actual location of the equipment.
- 4 Ensure calibration database and tool room database coincides as to the status and location/issued to of the equipment.
- 5 Review calibration notification (weekly email) on the status of the equipment and make necessary actions on equipment listed and necessary updates on the database.
- 6 Provide and update work instruction whenever necessary in calibrating each test equipment.
- 7 Maintain files of calibration certificates.
- 8 Maintain storage of reference standards and calibration paraphernalia
- 9 Maintain accredited calibration laboratory files (i.e., Accreditation permits and licenses etc.) and make sure that they are updated
- 10 Ensure that accredited calibration laboratories are evaluated and assessed on their performance annually or as needed.
- 11 Schedule calibration of test equipment that are due for internal, external and or on-site calibration.
- 12 Create purchase request (PR) for equipment calibration on a timely manner.
- 13 Responsible for receiving and or pick up of calibrated equipment from accredited laboratory.
- 14 Responsible in performing Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) on equipment whenever necessary.
- 15 Ensure timely calibration of equipment.
- 16 Maintain accurate master list of equipment that require calibration.
- 17 Ensure that only calibrated equipment is issued and is calibrated to its intended use.
- 18 Responsible for the timely update of calibration database/record of every calibration period.
- 19 Ensure that equipment that require calibration are properly calibrated and verified.
- 20 Recommends if test equipment cannot be use in production line.
- 21 Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in immediate work area.
- 22 Ensure department manager and concerned department well informed on the status of calibrated equipment.
