Job Qualifications- Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred;
with experience on Hotel, restaurant, catering, supermarket or any food related services as Purchasing Assistant/Officer or Buyer
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices
(researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors); Hands-on experience with purchasing software;
- Understanding of supply chain procedures;
Familiarity with Chinese products;

specifically in fresh fruits, vegetables, seafoods and meat
; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software;.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.- Supervisory and management experience.

Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of purchased products
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- meet suppliers and negotiate terms of contract
maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products- understand the basic rules of vendor management, allocation and price negotiation
