Responsible for ensuring the stores are properly equipped with the right merchandising mix by researching, evaluating, selecting, and purchasing items.
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Learn and master the Merchandising Cycle and Stock Ordering System- Select the right prices, colors, and styles per shipment
Provide stock allocation based on the needs of each store
- Select and pre-order new products based on market demand and budget
Research for merchandising trends and latest styles- Responsible for the creation of items for company's Masterlist
Analyzes market demand and creates launch plan for the release of new merchandise
- Conducts monthly store visits
Ensures timely store deliveries- Recommends in-store promotion that would help increase sales
Conduct competitor checks and analyze competitors strategies
- Handles vendor requests for stock pull-out or product allocation
Coordinates closely with the vendors/suppliers concerning production- Establish working relationship with principals / suppliers
Overall brand and merchandise supervision
- Monitor movement of stocks
Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising, preferably in a similar industry- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business Management or a related field required
Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate well with the suppliers/principals
Strong planning, budgeting, and negotiating skills- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledgeable about the latest trends and new styles
Amenable to work onsite along West Service Road, Paraaque, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm
