JOB OVERVIEWSupply Chain Buyer is responsible for sourcing out, evaluating, and negotiating with suitable suppliers for the requirements of end-users in terms of product quality, lead-time, and cost, that shall cover the non-trade requirements for the Company such as: awarding of store marketing collaterals, store signages, marketing merchandise, and uniforms.

Leads in the sourcing, research, selection and purchase of quality products and materials including necessary company inputs and services.
Selects the appropriate and accredited suppliers in the category of responsibility.
Know if the items dispensed for the department are fully utilized. Monitors frequency of purchases and recommends possible options to increase effectiveness of purchasing power.
Develop pool of reliable supplier base and alternatives to strengthen business performance and build better business relationships.
To know which supplies are slow moving, and find already unusable.
Shall see to it that the demand of the department was met by the supplier.
Develop cost reduction projects and prioritization based on financial contributions.
Establish contract agreements with Suppliers to achieve efficiencies and cost-effectivities.
Review documents and reconcile discrepancies; make the necessary adjustments.
Achieve organizational goals and performance KPI's.
Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
