BuyerThe buyer will be responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to be sold in all Giordano stores. He/ She will source new merchandise and review existing items to ensure that the products remain competitive. A Buyer should also be able to maximize profits and provide commercially viable range of merchandise at a competitive price. He/ She must be up to date with market trends and reacts to changes in demands promptly.
- Bachelors degree in Fashion, Arts and Business(Administration, Management, Commerce, Economics, Textile and Fashion Design or equivalent)
At least with 1 year working experience in related field, experience in a retail industry is an advantage- Has the ability to adapt to new technology and proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Updated to the latest trend of fashion.
- Has a skills of researching and forecasting and able to spot the new trends for the latest collection of the brand.
Manages buying plan, prepares sales and inventory performance reports and maintains smooth flow of merchandise deliveries- Follows up orders, PO processing and deliveries
Maintains optimal inventory level to maximize sales opportunities
- Prepares, analyzes and presents merchandising reports
Allocates and consolidates products to Giordano shops
Compressed Work Week from Mondays to Fridays (8:00 AM TO 6:00 PM)
