Job Description

A Butler provides personalized and luxury service to guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and tailored to their individual needs. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest requests promptly and professionally.

The Butler acts as a personal concierge for VIP guests, offering bespoke services to enhance their stay. This includes managing check-in and check-out processes, providing assistance with room services, and ensuring the guest's preferences and expectations are exceeded throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Personalized Guest Services:
  • Greet guests upon arrival and conduct personalized check-in.
  • Acquaint guests with room features, hotel amenities, and local attractions.
  • Address special requests such as arranging dining reservations, transportation, or spa appointments.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests needs promptly and discreetly.
  1. Room Preparation and Maintenance:
  • Ensure the guest's room is impeccably clean and stocked with personalized touches such as preferred amenities, beverages, or flowers.
  • Assist with unpacking, wardrobe organization, and packing services as requested.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve any room issues.
  1. Food and Beverage Services:
  • Serve in-room dining with attention to presentation and etiquette.
  • Arrange and serve meals, beverages, or refreshments in the guest's room or designated area.
  • Ensure dietary preferences and restrictions are noted and accommodated.
  1. Event and Itinerary Coordination:
  • Plan and execute personalized itineraries for guests, including tours, activities, and events.
  • Provide advice on local attractions, shopping, and cultural experiences.
  1. Liaison and Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring seamless communication with other departments.
  • Relay guest preferences and feedback to the relevant teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns efficiently and escalate issues when necessary.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, past stays, and special requirements for future visits.
  • Prepare reports on butler service activities and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory of butler supplies and amenities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience in luxury hospitality, concierge services, or as a butler.
  • Education: Certification or training in hospitality management is an advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of fine dining, etiquette, and luxury service standards.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • May require standing for long periods and assisting with physical tasks.
  • Professional grooming and presentation are mandatory.
