Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Support Center Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and executing all sales operation plans and strategies to meet monthly targets and company objectives. This role also involves promoting the company's brand, products, and services, as well as overseeing product development, advertising, and promotional activities. The manager ensures the efficient operation of all business support functions, focusing on sales performance, operational excellence, and business growth within the assigned area.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Sales Operations Management:

    o Oversee all sales operations activities, including total sales, new account acquisition, and individual sales performance.

    o Implement and monitor volume/product forecasting, sales compensation, sales automation, and the management of orders and quotations.

    o Ensure that all outlets are well-stocked, conducting ad hoc audits to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Sales Performance and Evaluation:

    o Review and evaluate sales performance monthly, comparing actual volumes against targets.

    o Coordinate closely with sales operations departments and support groups to ensure that targets are met and information is well-organized.

  • Operational Efficiency and Cost Control:

    o Ensure the achievement of sales and profitability targets through strict adherence to policies, efficient cost control, consistent equipment monitoring, and effective people management.

    o Implement cost reduction principles in all aspects of the department while maintaining product quality and standards.

  • Market Expansion and Feasibility Studies:

    o Conduct feasibility and market studies for expansion programs in the assigned region, identifying opportunities for new outlet openings.

    o Develop and implement new business strategies to enhance market share in existing and new markets.

  • Inventory and Financial Management:

    o Monitor daily collections and sales deposits for company-owned outlets, ensuring that all financial records are updated and accurate.

    o Prepare and evaluate financial aspects of product promotions, including budgets, expenditures, and return-on-investment projections.

  • Compliance and Auditing:

    o Create and lead audit committees to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures across all outlets.

    o Regularly check and approve reports and requests, ensuring they are reviewed and assessed for alignment with company standards.

  • Customer Relations and Business Development:

    o Foster positive customer relations to maintain strong relationships with business partners.

    o Recommend business development, promotional plans, and marketing strategies to increase the profitability of the organization.

  • People Management and Development:

    o Recommend appropriate training and development programs for subordinates to ensure effective execution of responsibilities.

    o Supervise and train staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.

    o Conduct performance evaluations and implement personnel policies, including disciplinary actions when necessary.



  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

    o Coordinate with other departments on various projects and operations, recommending strategies for improving day-to-day activities.

    o Participate in planning shipment activities, trucking schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

  • Strategic Planning and Forecasting:

    o Participate in annual sales forecasting and strategic planning, evaluating the effectiveness of current sales methods, costs, and results against company goals.

  • Operational Oversight:

    o Monitor outlet contracts, manpower contracts, and employment contracts, ensuring all documentation is processed on time.

    o Implement national satellite operations policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all business support activities.

  • Communication and Reporting:

    o Conduct weekly meetings to communicate new plans and strategies to the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

    o Respond to inquiries, suggestions, or complaints concerning business support center services, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Administrative Duties:

    o Maintain organized records, documents, and an efficient archive system to facilitate the expeditious retrieval of information.

    o Conduct final interviews for rank-and-file employees within the business support center.

  • Perform related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the business support center.

    Job Specifications:

    Educational Background:


    Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

    Experience:


    At least five (5) years of experience as a Sales Operations Manager, preferably in the food industry or an equivalent professional practice.

    Technical Proficiency:


    Proficient in basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and internet navigation and email.

    Decision-Making and Problem-Solving:

    Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.

    Communication Skills:


    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and customers.

    Organizational Skills:


    Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operational tasks.
