JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible for managing, developing, and executing all sales operation plans and strategies to meet the monthly targets and company objectives. The position is also responsible in promoting the company's brand products and services, product development, advertising, and promotions in coordination with other departments within the area of coverage.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for sales operations activities such as total sales, numbers of new accounts, individual sales;
- Implements volume/product forecasting, sales compensation, sales automation and process of managing orders and quotations;
- Monitors and ensures all outlets are well stocked and performs ad hoc audit activities from time to time;
- Reviews and evaluates sales performance, monthly volume based on the sales target and coordinates closely with other sales operation departments/support group to ensure targets, information, activities are met and organized;
- Ensures achievement of sales and profitability through strict adherence to policy, inventory management, efficient cost control, consistent equipment monitoring, and effective people management;
- Performs feasibility/market study for expansion programs of outlets in the assigned region;
- Ensures all daily collectibles, sales deposits of company owned outlets are updates;
- Ensures all reports and requests are checked, reviewed, and assessed for approval;
- Creates audit committee to ensure implementation of compliance in standard operating procedures are followed and observed;
- Participates in planning of shipment activities and trucking schedule trips and ensures all products are delivered on time;
- Participates in planning comprehensive annual sales and strategies based on the evaluation of the current effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results versus company goals;
- Develops and implements new business strategies to enhance market share in the existing markets;
- Implements cost reduction principles in all aspects of the department;
- Supports in formulating, directing, coordinating all marketing and promotional activities to have an efficient and effective customer awareness;
- Participates in sales forecasting and strategic planning on sales and profitability of products and services;
- Monitors outlet contracts, manpower contracts, employment contracts and its expiration to ensure processes of documents are always on time;
- Prepares and evaluates the financial aspects of promoting products such as budgets, expenditures, research and development, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections;
- Coordinates with other departments for various projects and operations and recommends strategies for improvement in day-to-day activities;
- Creates positive customer relations to maintain good relationship with business partners;
- Recommends business development, promotional plans, marketing services strategies, business plan, and proposal of the brand and for all products to increase profitability of the organization;
- Recommends appropriate training and development programs for subordinates to ensure assigned responsibilities are properly executed;
- Monitors operation expenses and recommends cost reduction strategies while maintaining product quality and standards;
- Implements national satellite operations policies and procedures;
- Conducts final interview to rank and file employees within business support center;
- Conducts weekly meeting to ensure awareness of new plans and strategies of the company;
- Evaluates and assess employees work performance;
- Checks compliance in implementing national satellite operations policies and procedures;
- Ensures all government mandated contributions are updated based on agency records;
- Checks and approves agency payroll for processing of payments;
- Maintains records, documents and organizes the files and archive system to facilitate expeditious retrieval of information;
- Responds inquiries, suggestions, or complaints concerning business support center services;
- Supervises and trains staff in performing their respective duties and responsibilities;
- Executes personnel policies and disciplinary actions among his/her subordinates;
- Performs related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- A graduate of business management, business administration, marketing, or any related courses;
- Preferably with at least five (5) years experience as a sales operations manager in a food industry or equivalent professional practice;
- Proficient in basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software and internet navigation and email);
- Excellent decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills;
- Excellent in written and communication skills;
- Highly organized and has an eye for detail;
- Self-motivated and hardworking;
- Positive personal values and strong work ethic;
- Strict in implementing of rules, regulations, and policies.
