Position Responsibilities:
- Provides insight on business problems through advanced data analysis and visualization.
- Designs and executes complex analysis that solves tech, operations, and business challenges.
- Collects data to create reports on business health and identifies trends.
- Provides analysis on complex datasets.
- Partner with users, product owners & people leaders to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions (dashboard & interactive reporting tools on key business measures) to empower end-users to be self-reliant.
- Work directly with TBO Leadership to translate business data needs into technical requirements, design, and implementation through data analysis and visualization.
- Develop insights by bringing together data from multiple data sources, leveraging any technology available to you within Manulife/TBO infrastructure.
- Proactively manage data integrity by identifying data issues, reconciling gaps, and ensuring consistent data is reported among and within reports.
- Optimize and automate repeatable processes.
- Utilize UI/UX best practices to craft visualizations that create a single, aligned version of truth, present clear information about business results & call for action.
- Regularly improve existing business intelligence solutions based on feedback and developing needs of the users.
- Provide support to other key partners in CDT in building dashboards and reporting tools and simplify process to help them develop and maintain these on their own.
- Create and maintain reference documentation related to definition and formula used for reports and dashboard.
Required Qualifications:
- Years of experience: 2-5
- Bachelor's degree in business analytics, mathematics, data/computer science, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases; Power Apps as nice to have
- Experience working with and managing complex data sets, and translating findings into actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
