Position:
The BIA is responsible for communicating with high-level stakeholders (primarily in Finance departments), gathering their requirements, documenting processes and SOWs, then liaising with the technical teams on delivering automated solutions for the business.
Communicates with and manages expectation of senior management and other stakeholders
Creates project plan, functional and potentially technical documentation for the development team, then prepares project status reports and presents project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders.
Suggests improvements/best practices and takes ownership of implementing them.
Works with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing.
Creates risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks as they are encountered.
Ensures all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company.
Maintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment.
Requirements:
Degree in Business/Project Management, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 Years of experience in Data management, project management or a related field
Exemplary communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience producing software development scope/specification documentation/functional requirements
Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to learn quickly and work with best practices
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-starter and maintains positive attitude.
Excellent time management and organizational skills; coordinate complex projects, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Good understanding of relational databases
Good understanding of financial & accounting concepts, processes and systems
Optional but preferred experience/knowledge of a software or programming environment:
SQL, Power BI, Power Query/M, DAX, Python
Experience in Finance industry is preferable
Salesforce or other major CRM experience
