Job Description:
In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth for our company. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to acquire new customers and expand our market share within the freight forwarding industry.
Responsibilities:
- Quote to agents overseas: provide estimated costs for shipping goods internationally to partner agents located in other countries.
Identify and qualify new business leads through market research, industry networking, and cold calling.- Check and qualify emails from agents/potential customer and see how we can collaborate for new business
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their specific needs and challenges.
- Craft compelling sales presentations that showcase our company's expertise and competitive advantages in freight forwarding solutions.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring adherence to company pricing and sales policies.- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare insightful reports on sales activities, pipeline analysis, and market trends.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Cargowise one experience is preferred
Minimum 6 Years logistics or freight forwarding industry.- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures for Australia
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working schedule: EU, AU or USA time
- Work setting: Remote / Work from home.
