The Role:


As a Business Development Officer at our firm, your role extends beyond traditional business development; it is a blend of strategic foresight, market insight, and robust lead generation skills. You will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and executing strategic lead-generation initiatives to propel our firm into new markets and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the charge in developing and implementing effective lead generation strategies aimed at the architectural and construction sectors.
Utilize market research to identify new leads and potential markets, leveraging digital and traditional platforms for maximum reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and how our firm can meet them.
Collaborate with marketing to craft targeted campaigns that support lead-generation efforts, including SEO, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Oversee the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to conversion, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with the firm's project execution teams.
Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to adapt and refine lead generation tactics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings, with a keen eye for lead generation opportunities.
Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that business development strategies are fully integrated with the firm's project goals and capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in business development within the architectural, design, or construction industries, with a proven track record in lead generation and sales growth.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field. A master's degree or professional business, marketing, or sales certifications would be an added advantage.
  • A good understanding of the architectural and construction industry's market dynamics and lead generation channels.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate lead generation strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to establish rapport with potential clients and partners.
Creative and strategic thinker with the capability to develop and implement innovative lead-generation strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with potential leads and represent the firm at various industry events.
