- EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare industry, preferably in a hospital setting. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- POSITION FUNCTION / PURPOSE Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and implementing strategies to enhance the hospital's market position and revenue streams.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth.
Analyze data to develop insights that inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
- Business Strategy Development:
Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the hospital's goals and objectives.- Identify new service lines or markets for expansion based on market needs and opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, insurers, and other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.Marketing and Promotion:
Develop marketing plans and promotional strategies to increase the hospital's visibility and attract new patients.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, events, and outreach efforts to enhance brand awareness and patient acquisition.
Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with other healthcare providers, institutions, and organizations.
Negotiate contracts and agreements that support business growth and strategic objectives.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics related to business development activities.- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on business development initiatives and outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance:- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards in all business development activities.
