Job Title: Business Development Manager (Cold Calling Focus)
Work Set-Up: Work from Home, M-F 6 AM to 3 PM
Job Type: Full-Time, Freelance, Independent Contractor
Salary: 30,000 to 60,000
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with expertise in cold calling to generate leads, build relationships, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach and communication, primarily via cold calling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities by cold calling prospects within the target market.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Engage with decision-makers, conduct needs assessments, and tailor sales approaches to client needs.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute targeted outreach campaigns.
- Follow up on leads and manage ongoing relationships with prospective clients to close deals.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to expand business opportunities.
- Track all activities, opportunities, and client communication in the CRM system.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on lead generation activities and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, with a strong focus on cold calling.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and sales goals.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch and sell over the phone.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and research skills to identify new business opportunities.
